DX Exchange

Project Overview

The DX8 Exchange App is a multi-platform Peer-To-Peer Digital Currency app focused on enabling cost-effective transactions. The scope of this project included designing both a landing page and a mobile application, providing users with a seamless way to send, receive, and swap crypto coins for everyday purchases.

My Role

As a key designer on the project, I was responsible for:

• Crafting and enhancing the UX/UI of both the mobile application and the landing page.
• Collaborating closely with the project manager to align design outcomes with project goals.
• Engaging with clients to gather their requirements and better understand their expectations.
• Ensuring a user-centered information architecture and defining modular components for a flexible design system.

Challenges

• User-Centered Navigation: The main challenge was to design intuitive navigation and an optimized overall flow that made it easy for users to manage their crypto transactions.

Design Process

• Client Engagement: I actively engaged with clients to gather insights into their needs and expectations, ensuring that our design solutions aligned with their vision.
• User-Centered Information Architecture: Emphasis was placed on structuring content in a logical, easy-to-navigate way, enhancing overall user experience.
• Modular Component Design: Defined reusable and flexible components that supported a scalable design system, enabling consistency across the app and potential future enhancements.
• Through user centered design, I created an interface that balanced functionality with visual appeal. The app provided a cohesive experience, with intuitive navigation for both new and experienced users
